Royal Enfield Classic Bullet

RE Classic rather I say Bullet Classic 500 cc provides 27 BHP of power and 42 Nm of torque, which is much ahead of any other bike in similer range. Higher compression ratio kicks the piston harder, hence torque is higher, Which also produces good amount of thumps. The another byproduct of this mechanism is Vibration, which one might not like. Classic 350 is perfect in that sense, for perfect amount of thump and vibration to make it pleasant. Just replacing the engine with 500cc mono-block  does not work fine but requires more damping to be fixed to reduce the transmission of engine vibration to body.

Royal Enfield offers a fair amount of customization. There are two types of silencer available to choose. Look at the images below. Shorter one look cool and enhance the thumping sound. Personally I felt the thump sound of cast iron engine was better than Twinspark. But there are lots of practicalities which makes Twinspark better, basically mileage and maintenance.

New Zapper 110/90 is broader and looks awesome with single seat. no doubt this is the most desirable upgrade. I wanted the same thick tyre in Thunderbird too. But unfortunately the chassis of older model of RE does not support it or requires lot of additional efforts.

Royal Enfield USP, Factory fitted single seat gives a perfect classic look, but you may opt for the pillion rider seat, if you have a companion, if not then you might get sooner ;) ..

The bike is available in 5 colors but most sexy Torcis blue is available only in 500cc model :) . Classic 350 cc is available in Red,Black and silver but 500cc is Torquish Blue, Black and red.

    hey ….i have booked a classic 350…..people say that royal enfield bikes vibrate a lot…..i just wanna know…is this will be a problem with classic 350??

    @ Pratim, Vibration is characteristic of Enfield bikes not a problem. It is because of engine’s high compression ratio, which is responsible for thump sound as well. Just take care of your bike, get serviced it regularly .. you will love it .. happy cruising :)
